Funny story: We’ve never had family photos taken before. I wasn’t even going to do maternity photos, but opted to do some last minute. Then of course there were the newborn photos. Gotta document my little man as.much.as.possible. Right?

I decided we really needed to have some taken so that we could hang some up in the new house. Plus, Tyler isn’t generally in most of the ones I take since he’s at work. Plus PLUS, I’m not in a lot either because I usually look like a sloppy mess and just shoot photos of my handsome little dude.

Cue: T07 Photography. I got in touch with Delle and asked if she would be willing to do a mini family session and she happily agreed. We opted for Bowness Park since there are a ton of backdrop options available there. The morning was a bit chilly, but we made it work (mostly through the coaxing of snacks and ducks and dogs walking by).

Delle has the exact style I go for- natural, un-posed photos. We sort of just did our thing and she captured it all while still engaging with us as if we were just all hanging out. She was really great to work work and got us a ton of images in under two weeks time.

If you live in the Calgary area, I highly recommend Delle if you have any photography needs- she does everything from cityscapes to families. (We meshed especially well with her since she has two kiddos of her own and understand the possibility of a drop-of-the-hat meltdown).
